Men’s Work
In indigenous cultures, men were initiated through many stages of their life by other men. But in today’s world, men have lost this connection with each other and are not taught how to be men.
Many men do not have a healthy relationship with their body, their sense of self or their own power.
Raised by fathers who did not model the integrated masculine, being expected to adhere to societal standards and norms which teach men that it is “weak” or “soft” to have an intimate rapport with their emotions, and measuring success by material success only, a deep wound is held in the collective psyche of men.
The healthy masculine is about men taking ownership of their personal power – to take decisive action when necessary, to understand their psychology (and the psychology of others), to recognize their loving connection with the world, and to cultivate the penetrative awareness that expands and empowers of others.
In Men’s Work, you will take a deep dive into discovering and cultivating your masculine essence. You will learn to access your emotions through conscious embodiment, take responsibility for the directive power within you to take action, investigate, more deeply understand the feminine within and without, and recognize and honor your own needs as a man.
