Aloha, and welcome. I’m an author, spiritual teacher, intuitive/transpersonal counselor, energy healer, and shamanic practitioner based in Maui, Hawaii. I offer both in-person sessions on Maui and online to clients in the US and around the world.

Jonathan Hammond is a spiritual teacher, shamanic practitioner, transpersonal counselor, and energy healer.

A graduate of Harvard University and the University of Michigan, he has completed four years of study in inter-spirituality and spiritual counseling at the One Spirit Learning Alliance. Jonathan holds certifications in Cherokee Bodywork from the Coyote Institute, Huna from Aloha International, and is an ordained Alaka‘I (leader or guide) in the Kahili Hawaiian shamanic tradition.

He has completed all core curriculum with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, is a certified Master Teacher in Shamanic Reiki, Usui Reiki, and Karuna Reiki, Huna and Ho’oponopono, and has trained in the therapeutic facilitation of psychedelics through Inward Bound. He is initiated into the Minoan Fellowship of Wicca, and has worked alongside shamans in Brazil, Bali, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Hawai‘i.

Jonathan has taught spirituality, shamanism, and psychology at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, The Shift Network, Penn State University, GlideWing Online Courses, the Healing Touch Professional Association, Shamanic Reiki Worldwide, and One Spirit Learning Alliance.

He is the author of The Shaman’s Mind: Huna Wisdom to Change Your Life and creator of The Shaman Within, a shamanic audio course produced by Hemi-Sync®. His new book, Shamanism and Natural Magick – a Guide to your Rewilding will be released in 2026.

Before walking the healing path full-time, Jonathan enjoyed a successful career as an award-winning actor on Broadway and television. He lives on Maui, where he maintains a thriving private practice with an international client base.
